Scholarships

Community Involvement Student ScholarshipsNew Richmond Utilities feels that it is our responsibility to give something back to the community and contribute to educational efforts. Because of this, high school seniors looking for an outlet for their writing creativity could generate $1000.00 in cash for their continuing education.  New Richmond Utilities has been awarding this scholarship since 1998.

Each year, New Richmond Utilities along with our power supplier WPPI Energy, offers a $1,000 high school scholarship to high school seniors seeking a career as an electric lineworker.

New Richmond Utilities' scholarship program is designed to provide educational opportunities for promising local students and to promote awareness of New Richmond's community-owned utility.

The scholarship program materials are available by contacting the high school guidance or utility offices.

New Richmond Utilities is proud to help in the educational efforts of our community’s youth. Through this scholarship program, we have helped several local students with his/her continuing education.
